AEGIS SA Ltd Home Watch service is a comprehensive house/property watch and security service that provides our clients with the peace of mind in knowing that an AEGIS SA Ltd Licensed, Bonded, Insured, Professional security agent will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to check on their home. Our security personnel are available to periodically inspect unattended homes for signs of environmental, criminal or vandal activity and to respond to any threat to the safety and security of that property. Our Vacation Watch service includes detailed exterior inspection with special attention to any specifics at the owner’s request. FULL EXTERIOR INSPECTION

(COMPLETE EXTERIOR WALK-AROUND):

 

Walk the entire property and check for signs of trespassing or property damage.

Verify that all doors and windows are properly secured to prevent break-ins.

Check for signs of water damage or erosion.

Post storm visual inspections for severe weather damage.

Visual inspection for signs of insects or rodents.

Check for evidence of water leaks.

Visually inspect for signs of mold and mildew.

Remove all advertisements and or newspapers strewn on property.

Check swimming pools and hot tubs for irregularities.

Check all garage doors and inspect vehicles on the property for damage or intrusion.

IMMEDIATE reporting to Client of any abnormalities found.

 

FULL INTERIOR INSPECTION

(COMPLETE INTERIOR WALK-THROUGH):

 

For non winterized properties (water system not drained) - check the bathroom/kitchen plumbing fixtures and basement plumbing for leaks.

Roof Leaks - Visual interior inspection of all the ceilings for any signs of water leaks, etc...

Temperature - check the interior temperature

Humidity - check the interior humidity of the property.

Alarm System (if applicable) - Check alarm system to make sure it is armed.

Other Alert System (if applicable) - Check other systems such as freeze alarms, to make sure they are working properly.

Interior Lights - Check interior lights to make sure they are working. Check and adjust lighting timer schedule if necessary

Test smoke detectors - Make sure the smoke detectors are working - conduct test

Check circuit breakers - Look in the electrical circuit breaker boxes for tripped breakers.

 

REPORTING:

We keep detailed internal reports of every home check we perform. Most of our clients only want to be contacted if there is an issue. Other clients prefer to be notified after every home check. Houses are typically checked once a week. The following reporting options are available for our Home Watch clients:

 

Standard - We will check your house once a week and contact you after every visit (with pictures if applicable and only if there is a problem)

Premium - We will check your house twice a week and contact you after every visit (with pictures if applicable and only if there is a problem)

ALARM RESPONSE AND SECURITY MONITORING

We can serve as your security system local contact/key-holder if there is an alarm. Notify your alarm monitoring company to call us as well as the appropriate local authorities.

 

STORM DAMAGE ASSESSMENT

Customers can request a house check immediately after a storm to assess any damage. There is an additional inspection charge if outside your normal inspection schedule.

Anything else that you may require.

Properties with several outbuildings or large homes over 2500 square feet may require additional charges.
